It is an honor and a privilege for me to serve this community as your chief prosecutor, and I thank you for the trust you have placed in me the past twelve years.
I am seeking a fourth term as your County Attorney. I originally ran for this office because I truly wanted to serve the public. I am running for re-election because I want to continue to use my talents to make this community better, stronger and safer.
I am also seeking re-election because I am deeply committed to protecting those who obey the law, reducing the level of crime and violence in our community, and preventing our young people from becoming the next generation of criminal offenders my office will have to prosecute.
I believe I possess the right combination of depth of prosecutorial
experience, demonstrated leadership, innovation, and consistent
achievement of excellence that qualify me to continue to serve as
your County Attorney I have demonstrated my unwavering commitment to the criminal justice
system with a solid track record in administration, management and
prosecution, and I am pleased to report to you that the Office is in
excellent condition.
I have a positive track record of programs implemented to fight and prevent crime, to benefit victims of crime, to save you money as a taxpayer and to enhance the quality of life for all people in Pima County
You can count on me to continue to be relentless in holding criminals accountable for their conduct, seeking innovative ways to fight and prevent crime, continuing to serve victims of crime, and administering the office in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
When you vote on November 4th, 2008, I am asking you to remember me as a person of fairness and strength dedicated to serving the public good, a prosecutor passionately committed to bringing criminals to justice, and as an ethical and principled leader. Being your County Attorney is a great honor. It would be a privilege to continue to work for and serve you as your County Attorney for another four years.
